We've been  at Kalgoorlie for a couple of days now and had a chance to have a good look around at all the mining activities, museums etc.
The first stop is the Superpit right at the top of the town and is still a working mine. The size of this hole in the ground is breathtaking.

 The range of hills in the background is actually the mullock heap from the superpit.
